Yamaha Valentino Rossi 2015 Leather Motogp Jacket is made of 100% Genuine Cowhide Leather. Its thickness is from 1.2 to 1.3mm and CE approved carbon inserted metal protection used. We stitched the TPU mold protection inside this Jacket. We have highly trained and educated staff working on these suits. Our high priority is to make as much as comfortable and strong protection to minimize the damage.

Let us explain you more about our riding Jacket. We use Genuine Cowhide Leather. Jacket is fully protected from the inside and the outside. For the sensitive parts like the Neck, Elbow and Knee, we stitched the knee sliders, elbow sliders and aerodynamic hump to protect the back. All of these part have some extra layer of leather for maximum resistance sewn with nylon thread. Inside the Jacket we used comfortable mesh lining, and for the outer aspect of the leather has perforated patches on the frontside for the air ventilation to keep the rider’s body temperature normal. We are giving our 100% to make the best out of it.

We are MotogpGears.us, a US-based leather racing gear manufacturer and seller registered as MOTOGP GEARS LLC in Sacramento, California. We manufacture and sell racing suits, jackets, pants, boots, and gloves — and every piece can be customized to your order at no extra cost.
We have been making motorcycle racing gear since 2018. We don’t resell generic stock. We build garments using bovine and kangaroo leather sourced from tanneries in Italy, Turkey, and Pakistan — the same tanneries that supply professional motorsport manufacturers. We know the difference between a suit built for a track crash and one built to look like one. That difference is in every seam, every zipper, and every protector we choose.
Our Expertise in Racing Gear
Every garment we sell is built to a fixed quality standard. Here is exactly what goes into each piece:
Bovine leather from certified tanneries in Italy, Turkey, and Pakistan. Kangaroo leather available on request for lighter, stronger build.
Original YKK brand only, with auto-block cursor system. No off-brand zippers.
Elastic panels — Keprotec by Schoeller, sourced from Switzerland. Abrasion-resistant, fire-resistant, and form-fitting.
Thread & stitching — Schoeller and Amann technical threads throughout. Kevlar thread used on all critical seams. All garments use double and triple security seams.
Crash reinforcement — High-impact zones (shoulders, elbows, knees, hips) are double-layered. First layer absorbs abrasion. Second layer stops perforation.
Customization — Every suit and jacket is built to your measurements and design at no additional charge.
Safety Certifications We Stock
All protectors used in our garments are homologated and tested. We work with certified armor manufacturers — SAS-TEC, BETAC, 3DO, and KNOX. These are not generic foam inserts. They are CE-certified impact protectors tested under EN 1621-1 (limbs) and EN 1621-2 (back) standards.

Outer titanium protectors are also available on select suits. All protections are secured with velcro for correct positioning during impact — not loose-fit pockets.

Materials & Protection Explained
Here is what is actually inside your suit or jacket from MotogpGears.us:
Leather shell — Bovine cowhide is our standard outer shell. It is sourced from tanneries in Italy, Turkey, and Pakistan and is graded specifically for motorcycle gear manufacturing — not fashion leather. Kangaroo leather is available for riders who want higher strength at lower weight.
Elastic panels — Keprotec (Schoeller, Switzerland) is used on all stretch zones — sides, underarms, crotch area. It stretches with your body but resists abrasion if you go down.
Armor — Certified protectors from SAS-TEC, BETAC, 3DO, and KNOX sit in shoulder, elbow, back, and knee pockets. All are CE-tested. Back protectors are EN 1621-2 Level 2 as standard on race suits. Velcro attachment keeps each protector locked in the correct impact zone.
Double-layer crash zones — Shoulders, elbows, knees, and hips use two layers of leather. The outer layer handles road abrasion. The inner layer stops anything from reaching your skin.
Zippers — YKK only, with auto-lock cursor. They will not open in a crash.
